We are looking for a Junior–Mid PHP Developer to join our development team, working on large-scale educational systems used by teachers and students across Israel.

The role is strongly focused on PHP development, while also involving front-end work as part of full-stack development, mainly within systems built on top of WordPress and Moodle, and additional backend services developed by the team.

This position is ideal for an intelligent, motivated developer, with solid PHP fundamentals and a strong desire to grow.

Responsibilities

• Backend development in PHP
• Full-stack development involving PHP and front-end technologies
• Development and maintenance of features within existing systems
• Working with MySQL and data-driven logic
• Debugging, refactoring, and improving existing code
• Collaborating with senior developers and gradually taking ownership of components

Must Have

• 1–3 years of experience in PHP development
• Strong understanding of PHP fundamentals (OOP, data structures, debugging)
• Experience with MySQL
• Working knowledge of HTML / CSS / JavaScript
• Ability to understand and modify existing front-end code
• High learning ability, curiosity, and motivation

Nice to Have

• Experience with WordPress or Moodle
• Experience with system upgrades or migrations
• Interest in using AI tools as part of the development workflow
